The Best Popovers For A Landing Page
I have been clued in to thickbox thanks to Jeremy Palmer who is using thickbox for http://searchmarketingvideos.com/.
If you are an affiliate marketer working on a landing page then thickbox fits the bill perfectly. If you are focused on selling something then you really don’t care what flavor of web 2.0 technology it uses (Jquery) but rather that is quick to load 20k compressed and that its easy to use(very)

Hi Fields
So, can we assume by this post if you have a “popover” as opposed to a “pop up/pop under” that we can use this on a landing page when advertising with Google Adwords (ie PPC)?
I have read on aweber’s forum that you can use popovers (I guess they have one built in using something like the jquery “lightbox”)
Do you know the answer to this?
Thanks

Hi Scott,
Excellent questions.
This is sort of a gray area in Google.
They claim they dont like popovers too but if you use the lightbox in Aweber as an example. Set it to 20 secs delay which will improve your conversion rates and also get past the editor review if that happens
Thanks for commenting
